I had the privilege of photographing these two families in December 2014 for baby Tucker's newborn session. Now, exactly two years later, Tucker and his cousin Edie are adorable toddlers who are so fond of each other...and don't stop moving! :)

This time around we incorporated both sets of grandparents, and it was so sweet to witness the love among all of these family members. We scheduled an early morning session the day after Christmas since everyone would still be in town, and picked West Point on the Eno so that the kiddos could run around and everyone could enjoy some fresh air.

I hadn't seen the little ones since they were babies, and it was so sweet to see how much they had both grown...and discover their big personalities! Considering Tucker screamed through most of his newborn session, I loved seeing his silly grin and hearing his laugh this time around. :)

We've been revisiting some of our favorite shoots from the past few years, and this winter session is definitely at the top of our list. This double-family holiday session In Durham was so much to shoot, since it incorporated classic newborn portraiture with capturing sweet (and funny!) family moments.

Tucker- just a few weeks old- and Edie are cousins, born several months apart, and it was so sweet to document some of their first interactions together. Edie was significantly happier than her tiny cousin, who protested for the majority of the session. :)

We love these photographs and hope you enjoy them too! :)
